Andres had great luck and was finally able to travel to Germany on a foster home. Here is how the sweet male dog is described: "Andres is an always friendly Podenco. He is absolutely getable with every other dog. So far, he shows no prey drive. At home, he is calm and even stays alone for two hours. He is also mostly house-trained. He listens to 'No' and can do 'Sit.' He can also climb stairs and walks well on a leash. Loud children and many people in one place unsettle Andres a little. Andres needs mental stimulation and long walks with thorough sniffing. Andres does not necessarily need another dog in his home, but he would also have no problem if another dog is there. Who will give him his forever home? Taking care of a shelter dog is always a special challenge. The dogs bring a backpack full of past experiences or unlearned situations and need time to get used to their new life. Would you take on the challenge and give the sweet male dog a home?.

Er ist absolut verträglich mit jedem Hund. Bisher zeigt er keinen Jagdtrieb. Im Haus ist er ruhig und bleibt sogar schon zwei Stunden allein. Er ist auch weitestgehend stubenrein. Er hört auf „Nein“ und macht „Sitz“. Auch Treppen kann er steigen und er läuft gut an der Leine. Laute Kinder und viele Menschen auf einem Fleck verunsichern Andres ein wenig. Andres benötigt geistige Auslastung und lange Spaziergänge mit ausgiebigen Schnüffeln.“ Andres benötigt nicht unbedingt einen anderen Hund in seinem Zuhause, aber er hätte auch kein Problem, wenn ein anderer Hund da ist.
