Adopt Angel

Mixed Breed · Unknown

Angel had an angel. He is a very sweet, lovable puppy with fur as white as a snowflake. His fur could certainly become whiter and fluffier, but that will take some time, good food, care, and lots of love... and above all, a loving person or people who will take care of him and give him what he so desperately needs. We are urgently looking for these people for Angel. That is why he had an angel, because he was rescued and came to the animal shelter. This lovely dog probably comes from an apartment where too many dogs and cats had to live in terrible conditions. Angel was very neglected, malnourished (his fur shows this clearly), undernourished, had wounds on his body, and was in a deplorable condition overall. At the animal shelter, he received medical care and is slowly regaining his strength. Once we find the right home for Angel, he will be able to travel. He has not lost his trust in people, which is a good prerequisite for a new beginning. Angel is a very lovable, friendly, social, and adaptable male dog. He knows very little and is somewhat shy, which is not surprising. He probably does not know what it is like to run freely in a garden, sniffing and playing. All of this he will learn to enjoy. He does not know a leash and therefore no walks. The little pup has a lot to learn in his future, new environment. With love, patience, without pressure, with understanding and fun (and treats?), he will succeed! He now only needs the right people with a nice, dog-friendly home in a quiet environment. The stimuli in a big city would overwhelm him. One or more friendly dogs in his new home would certainly greet him joyfully, but he would also do well as a single dog. A soft dog bed, a bowl filled with healthy food, and a person who has time to cuddle with him would be Angel's greatest happiness. © 2006-2024 by Tierschutzverein Europa e.V. - All rights reserved

© 2006-2024 by Tierschutzverein Europa e.V. - All rights reserved

About Angel

What life with Angel looks like

Angel is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Tierschutzverein Europa in München.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Angel, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Angel?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein Europa handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Angel on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Angel if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzverein Europa will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Angel already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Angel isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein Europa early rather than rehoming privately; they know Angel and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
