Her story: Ann is approximately seven years old and a small ray of happiness on four legs. After a life full of rejections and exclusion in Romania, she finally traveled to a foster home—and from the first moment, she captivated everyone. It seems as though she always belonged: Ann was immediately house-trained, handled the alone time calmly, and greeted every person with friendliness—whether a visitor, neighbor, or passerby, Ann waved cheerfully over. On walks, she showed a laid-back and curious demeanor towards other dogs. With small dogs, she made polite contact, while with larger ones, she initially kept a distance and observed cautiously. Day by day, she becomes more secure and learns to better read the body language of her four-legged friends. Cats are still a bit of a learning curve for Ann—sometimes a hint of jealousy flares up. But even here, she makes progress daily in her foster home and becomes more relaxed. At home, Ann truly blossoms. She is uncomplicated, gentle, and simply wants to be liked. Snuggling counts among her favorite activities: whoever starts gets an attached companion who greatly enjoys closeness and affection. Ann doesn't need long walks; she loves leisurely strolls, sniffs happily in the garden, and spends the time happily on the couch. Ann is a wonderful female dog with soft light brownish-red fur and a gentle gaze—her eyes are now full of hope, even though the past has left some marks. Ihre Geschichte: Ann ist ungefähr sieben Jahre alt und ein kleiner Glücksfunken auf vier Pfoten. Nach einem Leben voller Zurückweisungen und Ausgrenzung in Rumänien durfte sie endlich auf eine Pflegestelle reisen – und hat alle von der ersten Minute an verzaubert. Es wirkt, als hätte sie schon immer dazugehört: Ann war sofort stubenrein, kommt entspannt mit dem Alleinbleiben klar und begegnet jedem Menschen freundlich – ob Besuch, Nachbar oder Spaziergänger, Ann wedelt alle fröhlich heran. Auf Spaziergängen zeigt sie sich anderen Hunden gegenüber gelassen und neugierig. Mit kleinen Hunden nimmt sie höflich Kontakt auf, während sie bei größeren Hunden anfänglich etwas Abstand hält und erstmal vorsichtig beobachtet. Von Tag zu Tag wird sie sicherer und lernt, die Körpersprache ihrer vierbeinigen Freunde besser zu lesen. Katzen sind für Ann noch ein wenig Übungssache – manchmal blitzt eine kleine Eifersucht auf. Aber auch hier macht sie in ihrer Pflegestelle täglich Fortschritte und wird immer entspannter. Zuhause blüht Ann richtig auf. Sie ist unkompliziert, sanft und möchte einfach nur gefallen. Kuscheln zählt zu ihren liebsten Beschäftigungen: Wer einmal anfängt, bekommt einen anhänglichen Begleiter, der Nähe und Zuwendung sehr genießt. Lange Wanderungen braucht Ann nicht, sie liebt gemütliche Spaziergänge, schnuppert gerne im Garten und verbringt danach die Zeit glücklich auf dem Sofa.
