ARAMIS

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 3 months

ARAMIS… He is one of those dogs that should never end up in an animal shelter. He is delicate, sensitive and very confused. In the cage he fades away — he's afraid to go out, doesn't understand what's happening, why he ended up in such a place. Every day is a stress and uncertainty for him. But it's enough to give him a moment… When he finally manages to take him out onto the grass, something beautiful happens — ARAMIS starts to walk, sniffing the world, slowly opening up. You can see that he wants to trust. Deep down, he really longs for a normal life. Sometimes he growls at other dogs — but it's not anger. It's fear. He just doesn't feel safe. ARAMIS urgently needs a home. Quiet, calm, full of patience and heart. One where someone will show him that the world isn't scary. He doesn't need much — just a person who won't let him down. Please help us find a home for him. ARAMIS is about 3 years old, unfortunately we don't know his relationship with children and cats. Share. Maybe thanks to you, someone will notice him.

Aramis… To strach. On po prostu nie czuje się bezpiecznie. Aramis pilnie potrzebuje domu. Cichego, spokojnego, pełnego cierpliwości i serca. Może właśnie dzięki Tobie ktoś go zauważy.

About ARAMIS

What life with ARAMIS looks like

ARAMIS is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Fundacja Puszatek in Warszawa.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting ARAMIS, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about ARAMIS?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Puszatek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw ARAMIS on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt ARAMIS if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Puszatek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is ARAMIS already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if ARAMIS isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Puszatek early rather than rehoming privately; they know ARAMIS and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
