Arianna

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 2 years

Arianna, a two-year-old female dog, could also be called "Knopfauge" due to her warm and intimate gaze that is hard to resist. She was discovered by a very animal-loving person near an abandoned sheep barn and regularly fed. Not only that, the kind person even had Arianna spayed and brought her to the care of our animal protectors. We would like to thank them again for this rare care, as stray dogs in Romania often have a very difficult time. With her height of approximately 52 cm, Arianna is a medium-sized dog that needs a lot of exercise and activity to develop in a species-appropriate way. Her owner or owners should be able to spend enough time with Arianna to take her on long walks. A positive dog school can help with learning and training the important lessons of dog 101. We currently assume that Arianna will be a model student, as she appears lovingly, friendly, and very attentive on her Romanian foster home. Arianna gets along very well with her fellow dogs. She also has no objections to cats. However, if a cat is a bit too pushy, she withdraws. We wish for the gentle Wuschel-Maus that she gets a beautiful home. A confident first-time dog is welcome to wait for her. Maybe the sun will soon shine for Arianna and she will find a human heart that beats for her and gives her love and security. She would naturally be very happy with a garden. Will you show Arianna that she is as valuable as a treasure just discovered? From the beginning of September, she is ready to travel to you after a positive pre-check and against a deposit fee, chipped, vaccinated, dewormed, dewormed and spayed. She also has her EU pet passport in her luggage. Arianna would also be very happy with a loving foster home. Thank you, dear Tanja. You have given the enchanting Arianna a beautiful name and thus an identity.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen!

About Arianna

What life with Arianna looks like

Arianna is a large young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Arianna, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Arianna?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Arianna on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Arianna if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Arianna already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Arianna isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Arianna and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
