This is the story of Arturo, a dog who knew the hardest part of life, but now reminds us why it's always worth fighting for a second chance. Arturo was not always called by his name. For a long time he was just "dog 14" in a cold municipal kennel. He arrived there after being found wandering the streets, thin, with a lost look and fear etched into his bones. In that place, the noise of desperate barking and the smell of damp concrete were his daily life. Arturo spent hours curled up in a corner, trying to make himself invisible so no one would hurt him. The days turned into weeks, and his time was running out. But one afternoon, everything changed. Two volunteers from a local animal protection association called the center. They were looking for the most vulnerable cases, those who had already given up hope. And Arturo was one of them. When he left through the door, Arturo stepped on the grass for the first time in months. At the shelter, they called him by his name again (because every living being deserves to be called by some name), a soft bed and, most importantly, time. At first, Arturo would get scared if someone raised their hand or made a loud noise. But with patience, caresses that asked for nothing in return and many sausages, Arturo discovered that humans could also mean love. Esta es la historia de Arturo, un perro que conoció la parte más dura de la vida, pero que hoy nos recuerda por qué siempre vale la pena luchar por una segunda oportunidad. Arturo no siempre fue llamado por su nombre. Durante mucho tiempo fue solo el «perro del canil 14» en una fría perrera municipal.
