Asena - a shy dog soul waits for her chance Our pretty mixed breed female dog Asena was born on 23.03.2025 and has been living in a large Romanian animal shelter since 23.05.2025. At about 50 cm shoulder height and around 17 kg, she is a medium-sized dog. Asena is one of the dogs that have not yet experienced life from the good side. The daily life in a large shelter with 1500 dogs is loud, hectic and particularly stressful for a young, sensitive dog like her. As a result, Asena is still shy and fearful around people. She needs time, peace and above all people who do not demand anything from her and give her the opportunity to build trust at her own pace. Important: Asena is not aggressive. She shows her uncertainty through caution and fear - not through defense. Behind her reserved nature is a young dog who simply has not yet experienced how nice a safe home can be. With other dogs, Asena is very friendly. She gets along very well with her fellow dogs and can orientate herself around them.

Mit etwa 50 cm Schulterhöhe und rund 17 kg ist sie eine mittelgroße Hündin. Asena gehört zu den Hunden, die das Leben bisher nicht von der schönen Seite kennenlernen durften. Der Alltag in einem großen Shelter mit 1500 Hunden ist laut, hektisch und für eine junge, sensible Hündin wie sie besonders belastend. Menschen gegenüber ist Asena deshalb noch schüchtern und ängstlich. Sie braucht Zeit, Ruhe und vor allem Menschen, die ihr nichts abverlangen und ihr die Möglichkeit geben, ganz in ihrem eigenen Tempo Vertrauen aufzubauen. Wichtig ist: Asena ist nicht aggressiv. Ihre Unsicherheit zeigt sie durch Vorsicht und Angst – nicht durch Abwehr.
