Hij vindt het fijn om gezelschap te hebben en houdt ervan om lekker in jouw omgeving te zijn. Opgepakt worden vindt hij niet zo erg, al heeft hij soms even de tijd nodig om aan nieuwe situaties te wennen. Net als zijn broertjes en zusje heeft Avery een moeilijke start gehad. Zijn socialisatie is helaas niet helemaal verlopen zoals het zou moeten, waardoor hij in het begin wat voorzichtig kan zijn. Met rust, geduld en een liefdevolle benadering kan hij stap voor stap verder groeien in zijn vertrouwen. Spelen met een hengel vindt Avery ontzettend leuk! Hij kan hier heerlijk van genieten, maar weet ook goed wanneer het tijd is om de rust op te zoeken.
