Bąbel

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 1 month

Bąbel - a little dog with energy that could power half the shelter! ❤️ There are dogs who wait patiently. And then there's Bąbel. 😄 Even before you open the door to his enclosure, you already know he's there. First, you hear his barking, and soon after, you see a small, tri-colored troublemaker trying its best to say "Hello! It's me! Let's go for a walk!" 🐾 Bąbel reaches only halfway up the calf, but his heart and energy are... huge. He's a young dog, born around 2025. Agile, fast, brave, and curious about everything happening around him. The world is one big adventure for him. 🌳 Walking is his favorite part of the day. He's always first at the door of the enclosure. He doesn't want to miss a single chance to go out with a human. When he finally gets on the leash, his tail works so hard as if he wanted to make up for all the days spent behind bars. Bąbel still needs to learn how to walk calmly on a leash. He pulls a bit because everything fascinates him. Every smell, every leaf, every bird, and every new corner of the world seems worth discovering. ❤️ Most of all, he's interested in... humans. That's why he barks so loudly to get attention. It's not that he's being naughty. He just doesn't want to be overlooked. 🐶 Other dogs are rather indifferent to him. For Bąbel, the most important thing is one: to be close to a human. 👧 Children love him, but because of his youthful energy, he will find himself best in a home with older children who can spend time actively with him. We don't know his story. We don't know where he came from or why he ended up at the shelter. But looking at him, it's hard to believe that after all this, he still waits every day by the door of his enclosure with the same hope. As if he were convinced that the next walk will be home. 🏡 Bąbel doesn't need much. He needs a human who will show him the world, teach him everything he hasn't had time to learn yet, and let him be just happy dog. And in return? You get your daily dose of joy, a wagging tail, and a little friend who will look at you as if you were the greatest miracle that ever happened to him in life. ✨ Maybe it's you who will make Bąbel never have to bark for attention again. Because finally he will have his human... forever. ❤️ 📍He stays at a shelter near Radom (Mazowieckie province). Interested in adoption, please fill out the questionnaire: ☎️contact: 517634246

To ja! To młody psiak, urodzony około 2025 roku. Trochę ciągnie, bo wszystko go zachwyca. Każdy zapach, każdy listek, każdy ptak i każdy nowy zakątek świata wydają mu się warte odkrycia. ❤️ Najbardziej jednak interesuje go... człowiek. A w zamian? Mazowieckie). Zainteresowanych adopcją prosimy o wypełnienie ankiety: ☎️kontakt: 517634246

About Bąbel

What life with Bąbel looks like

Bąbel is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Fundacja Puszatek in Warszawa.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bąbel, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bąbel?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Puszatek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bąbel on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bąbel if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Puszatek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bąbel already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bąbel isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Puszatek early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bąbel and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
