Bagera

Female · Young · 2 years

The animal is under the care of the foundation and does not reside in an animal shelter. Anyone interested in adoption is kindly asked to contact the foundation directly. Meet Bagera - a volcano of cat energy and love! Bagera is a true spark! Despite her young age (less than a year old), she has already shown how strong her will to live is and how big her heart is for people. She is a cat who loves humans with all her being - she approaches, cuddles, pushes herself onto your knees and invites you to play together. Her eyes show joy and curiosity about the world, and her presence fills the space with energy and warmth. She gets along very well with other cats - she happily plays with them, chases, and cuddles. Therefore, an ideal home for her would be one where there is already a young, energetic cat or kitten that can keep up with her in games. What about her health? Bagera came to the animal shelter after an accident - with an injury to her limb and spine. Today she moves very skillfully, although with a slight instability in her hind legs. She jumps, runs, and plays like any other kitten. Unfortunately, due to the spinal injury, she sometimes loses control of her bladder - mainly during play. We do not know if bladder control will return, but we hope that over time the situation will improve. We are looking for a special home for Bagera - responsible, aware, and ready to give a chance to a post-accident cat. She will repay you with unconditional love and daily doses of a feline smile. If you have a place in your heart for this special little cat, respond. Bagera is waiting for you. The cat is available for adoption after a previous conversation with the veterinarian at the animal shelter. Before adoption, we recommend reviewing the pre-adoption questionnaire and visiting the animal shelter with the completed form: Note: When deciding on adoption or considering it, bring a carrier or transport bag for cats to the animal shelter. Before adoption, make sure your home/apartment is safe and properly prepared to welcome a new family member. Remember to secure the windows and balcony.

Poznaj Bagerę – wulkan kociej energii i miłości! Bagera to prawdziwa iskierka! W jej oczach widać radość i ciekawość świata, a jej obecność wypełnia przestrzeń energią i ciepłem. To rozwiązanie działa świetnie, a sama Bagera podchodzi do pieluszek z pełnym spokojem. Pamiętaj, żeby zabezpieczyć okna i balkon. Ewa 576661626

About Bagera

What life with Bagera looks like

Bagera is a small young adult cat waiting at Schronisko Na Paluchu in Warsaw.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

Note from the shelter: Spinal injury with mild rear leg instability and occasional urinary incontinence during play

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bagera, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bagera?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko Na Paluchu handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bagera on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bagera if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko Na Paluchu will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bagera already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bagera isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko Na Paluchu early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bagera and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
