Shelter attendants rescued her. When she arrived with us… she was skin and bones. Not an exaggeration. Not a fantasy. TRULY. There was the mark of every cruelty on her body. But in her heart… something wonderful had happened. BECAUSE SHE STILL TRUSTS HUMANS. Her eyes… they tell: "I have never had a good life" yet she says: "but I would like to live… to love… to belong to someone…" Bagira: an affectionate lap dog, eager to cuddle and play, to walk, to finally live. More than fond of other dogs, her behavior is not always understandable – how could she, when no one ever taught her how to be a "dog" in love? She is not a problem. She is broken. And it is not to punish broken hearts – but to love. She sits here… behind a screen… her past was magnificent… her future DOES NOT YET EXIST… it depends on us whether she will have one.
