Barney is an 8-month-old Labrador Retriever full of energy, curiosity, and joie de vivre. He is in the exciting puppy phase and brings everything that makes this time so special: he is playful, lively, eager to learn, and sometimes a little whirlwind. We are looking for active people who enjoy accompanying a young dog on his further life's journey. He still needs to learn the dog 1x1 and requires consistent, loving upbringing as well as sufficient time and patience. Especially in the first weeks, Barney should not be left alone for long, as he still needs a lot of orientation and care. Barney loves activity, exercise, and joint activities. He wants to be physically and mentally exhausted and is looking forward to discovering the world with his people. Attending a dog school would certainly be a great support for him. Barney gets along well with stable children and would surely have a lot of fun with an active family. Contact with other dogs is also important to him and is great fun. Barney is not a dog for people looking for a quiet companion for the couch. However, anyone who engages with the exciting time with a young Labrador will get a cheerful, loyal, and lovable companion who will grow into a great family dog with the right guidance.
