🐾 Hi everyone, my name is Basil! 🐾 I’m an 8-year-old Staffie x German Shepherd, and I’m looking for a forever home to call my own. I may be 8, but I still have plenty of life, love, and adventures left in me. I love my toys, exploring new places, and spending time with my favourite people. After a fun day out, you’ll usually find me snuggled up on the sofa, soaking up all the cuddles I can get. I’m looking for a home where I can be your one and only pet. Other dogs can make me feel a little worried, and cats are just far too interesting for me. I could happily live with dog-savvy children aged 11 and over who understand bigger, playful dogs like me. Right now, I’ve been spending longer on my own than I’d really like, so I’m hoping to find a home where someone can help me settle and gradually build up my confidence. Ideally, I’d like to be left for around two hours at a time once I’m feeling safe, secure, and settled into my new routine. I’d also love a secure garden with 6ft fencing where I can play, relax, and enjoy some time outdoors. More than anything, I’m looking for someone to love. Someone who’ll see past the number on my paperwork and see the happy, affectionate boy I really am. I have so much love left to give, and all I want is a family to share it with. In return, I promise loyalty, companionship, plenty of smiles, and enough cuddles to last a lifetime.
