Baster loves walks, play, any physical and intellectual effort. The greatest joy comes from strength games, such as tug-of-war, toys with the caregiver, but also gladly focuses on the guide and learns new commands. This beautiful guy has also mastered the basics of working with a clicker, which is an excellent training solution for him. He also likes scent activities. In shelter conditions, Baster is an exceptional companion and friend for people he knows. Unfortunately, his past and experiences from living in home or urban conditions are not as pleasant. Baster is very excited by city movement, which negatively affects his psychological state. Finally, Baster showed aggressive behavior, which was the reason for his return to the animal shelter from a previous adoption. We are unable to predict what most influenced such behavior of our ward, however, his new home should be characterized by a minimal number of stimuli that excite the dog. Therefore, since Baster functions very well in shelter conditions and does not cause any problems, we think similar conditions would be appropriate for him. Definitely, he is not suitable for a family home, with other animals, or in the city center. He should also not function in a small space with the caregiver, because the lack of his own place and distance can generate problematic behavior. We think that Baster would be best suited for a home with one experienced caregiver, away from the city and with a large space to live. Baster certainly needs a consistent and determined caregiver. Baster is not an easy dog, so we are looking for an experienced and responsible home for him.

Baster uwielbia spacery, zabawy, wszelki wysiłek fizyczny oraz intelektualny. Największą frajdę sprawiają mu zabawy siłowe, np. przeciąganie, zabawki z opiekunem, ale równie chętnie skupia się na przewodniku i uczy nowych komend. Ten piękny chłopak opanował też podstawy pracy z klikerem, który jest dla niego doskonałym rozwiązaniem treningowym. Lubi również aktywności węchowe. W warunkach schroniskowych Baster jest wyjątkowo świetnym kompanem i przyjacielem dla znanych sobie osób. Niestety jego przeszłość oraz doświadczenia z życia w warunkach domowych/miejskich nie są równie przyjemne. Baster bardzo emocjonuje się ruchem miejskim, co negatywnie wpływa na jego stan psychiczny. Finalnie, Baster wykazywał zachowania agresywne, co było powodem jego powrotu do schroniska z poprzedniej adopcji. Nie jesteśmy w stanie przewidzieć co najbardziej wpłynęło na takie zachowania naszego podopiecznego, jednak jego nowy dom powinien cechować się minimalną liczbą bodźców pobudzających psa. W związku z tym, że Baster bardzo dobrze funkcjonuje w warunkach schroniskowym i nie sprawia żadnych problemów, to sądzimy że zbliżone warunki byłyby odpowiednie dla niego. Z pewnością nie nadaje się do domu rodziny, z innymi zwierzętami, czy w centrum miasta. Nie powinien również funkcjonować na małej przestrzeni z opiekunem, gdyż brak własnego miejsca i dystansu może generować zachowania problemowe. Sądzimy, że Basterowi najbardziej odpowiadałby dom z jednym, doświadczonym opiekunem, z dala od miasta i dużą przestrzenią do życia. Baster z pewnością potrzebuje opiekuna konsekwentnego i zdeterminowanego. Baster nie jest psem łatwym, więc szukamy dla niego doświadczonego i odpowiedzialnego domu.
