So he preferred to stay on the roof of the hut and had his retreat there. From there, he would curiously observe us, watching what we were doing in his kennel. When we approached him, he would gladly take our treats, and we could gently touch his snout. For more, he lacked the courage and would retreat. In another environment with understanding people who give him time to adjust, Bastian should become more trusting. His curious nature will help him. ——— Update August 2023: Bastian remains curious and friendly. So blieb er lieber auf dem Hüttendach und hatte da seinen Rückzugsort. Von dort aus beobachtete er uns neugierig, was wir in seinem Kennel machen. Als wir uns ihm zuwandten, nahm er gerne unsere Leckerchen und wir konnten ihn dabei auch vorsichtig an der Schnauze berühren. Für mehr fehlte ihm der Mut und er wich zurück. In einer anderen Umgebung mit verständnisvollen Menschen, die ihm Zeit zur Eingewöhnung geben, sollte BASTIAN noch zutraulicher werden. Seine neugierige Art wird ihm dabei helfen. ——— UPDATE August 2023: BASTIAn ist weiterhin neugierig und freundlich. Er nahm unsere Leckerchen gern aus der Hand, für mehr fehlt ihm der Mut. ———— neugierig interessiert nimmt Futter aus der Hand insgesamt aber unsicher und wich bei Bedrängnis aus, ließ sich nicht anfassen taut sicher mit mehr Kontakt bei erfahrenen Menschen auf sehr verträglich Kontakt: Unsere Hunde sind geimpft (Tollwut und 2x Grundimmunisierung) sind gechippt und mit dem EU-Heimtierausweis ausgestattet werden auf unsere Kosten (wir übernehmen die Labor-Gebühren) auf die gängigen Mittelmeerkrankheiten getestet: Babesiose, Ehrlichiose, Leishmaniose, Rickettsien, Filarien, Hepatozoonose, Anaplasmose werden nur nach positiver Vorkontrolle (Hausbesuch) gegen eine Schutzgebühr mit Schutzvertrag vermittelt.
