Bea

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 8 months

adoption requirements adoption process Adopt this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Bea has found a permanent home! Her story: Bea was lucky and traveled to her foster home in November! Her foster home describes Bea as "a little magic mouse." With her charm and friendly, cheerful nature, she wins over her foster parents and the entire little pack. At first, Bea is a bit reserved and shy. But she warms up quickly and then plays with her fellow animals in the garden with great enthusiasm. Bea also enjoys the human affection and attention very much. Of course, most everyday sounds are still unfamiliar to her, and Bea must get used to them slowly. But here, she is already making great progress. The house training, leash training, and being left alone are being practiced diligently, and Bea turns out to be a clever and very eager little female dog. She is therefore on the way to becoming a great companion for everyday life and can hardly wait to meet her very own forever family. Currently, Bea is about 8 months old, and we assume that she will remain relatively small when fully grown. If you are interested in Bea, she can be visited and met in her current foster home. However, her new family should be aware that Bea is just beginning to learn life in a loving family. She still has many things to learn from the puppy ABCs and puberty is in full swing. She needs people who can approach her with love and patience, and possibly also attend some positively working dog training classes with her and forgive her one or two mishaps. While house training, leash training, and being left alone are being diligently practiced, this training must continue in the new home. During puberty, she will certainly test boundaries and may even forget some things she has learned. But once this phase is overcome, Bea will definitely make a great lifelong companion. Bea is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. She brings an EU pet passport with her and can be adopted after a positive assessment. Who will give Bea a loving forever home? Many thanks to Irina! You named Bea. Date: 01.12.

Vielen Dank an Irina! Du hast Bea Ihren Namen geschenkt. Stand: 01.12.2024

About Bea

What life with Bea looks like

Bea is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bea, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bea?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bea on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bea if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bea already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bea isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bea and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
