Beanie zwierf rond op straat en met amper 2 maanden oud zocht ze hulp en onderdak bij een hotel. Het personeel daar stond haar toe binnen te verblijven tijdens openingsuren en ze voerden haar en zochten intussen naar een oplossing. De oplossing diende zich aan in de vorm van onze rescuer. Gelukkig is kleine Beanie (ze weegt momenteel slechts 3,5 kg en 25 cm hoog) nog redelijk onbeschadigd gebleven. Ze is ontzettend speels, energiek en dol op mensen en knuffelen. Ze wordt zelfs wat verdrietig als de mensen haar in de shelter weer verlaten. Ook is ze erg sociaal met de andere honden in de shelter. Beanie lijkt wel een mini Dobermann, de dierenarts denkt dat ze ook klein zal blijven. Beanie wil in augustus/september heel graag haar koffertje pakken!
