Lou (black), Chihuahua Mix, born: 2013, w/n.k. and Bella (beige), Chihuahua, born: 2018, w/k Update 05/26: Lou was diagnosed with a tricuspid valve insufficiency. This is a common heart condition in small, older dogs. She receives two doses of medication daily. For Lou, we could, after discussion, suggest a foster home. Bella should definitely be taken in as well. Please speak to us about this! ——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— In the past, Bella was abused as a "breeder," was saved, and currently lives with Lou in a household. Unfortunately, the two sweet girls have now lost their homes due to personal reasons and ended up with us. Lou is a very friendly and affectionate female dog who enjoys human company and likes to snuggle. Bella is very anxious and insecure. Lou can slowly build trust with Bella, but it requires time and patience. We do not want to separate the two girls, as Bella currently finds her only support in Lou. Bella only eats when Lou is nearby. Due to Bella's anxiety, she should not be in a household with small children. For the female dogs, we wish to find experienced people who can, with patience and love, offer the girls a new forever home.

Dies ist eine häufige Herzerkrankung bei kleinen, älteren Hunde. Sie bekommt hierfür 2 x täglich ein Medikament. Für Lou könnten wir uns, nach Absprache, eine Pflegestelle vorstellen. Bella sollte aber auf jeden Fall mitübernommen werden. Bitte sprechen Sie uns hierzu an! ——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— In der Vergangenheit wurde Bella als „Gebärmaschine“ missbraucht, konnte gerettet werden und lebte derzeit mit Lou zusammen in einem Haushalt. Leider verloren die zwei süßen Mädchen nun aus persönlichen Gründen ihr Zuhause und landeten deshalb bei uns. Lou ist eine sehr freundliche und anhängliche Hündin, die die Gesellschaft des Menschen genießt und gerne kuschelt. Bella ist sehr ängstlich und unsicher. Über Lou kann man langsam Vertrauen zu Bella aufbauen. Es braucht allerdings Zeit und Geduld. Trennen wollen wir die zwei Mädels nicht, da Bella in Lou aktuell ihren einzigen Halt findet. Sie frisst auch nur, wenn Lou sich in der Nähe befindet. Aufgrund der Ängstlichkeit von Bella sollte sie nicht in ein Haushalt mit kleinen Kindern. Für die Hündinnen wünschen wir uns erfahrene Menschen, die sich mit Geduld und Liebe vorstellen können, den Mädchen ein neues Fürimmerzuhause zu schenken.
