Mate, Kangal-German Shepherd Mix, born: 15.03.2022, male. The handsome Mate came to us at the animal shelter due to a death in the family. For the slender, cuddly 40 kg male dog, we are seeking an appropriate home without children and cats with Herdenschutzhund-experienced people. Mate has already completed his behavioral assessment (the Kangal is listed as a Listehund in Hessen) with distinction (without conditions) for us in November 2024! Mate is perfectly leash-trained, excels at all basic commands with a very high "Will to please." He also communicates intensely with his person, with whom he forms a strong bond. Mate loves outings: as soon as the car starts, he sits in it and eagerly awaits the destination, because he loves long nature walks, but also city walks, where he moves confidently and without fear. It should be noted that Mate can display dominant behavior in the home environment if not properly led. His social behavior is very good: he is friends with many female dogs and gets along well with male dogs. With his favorite people, he is a very affectionate and loving dog who always tries to please and do everything right.

Für den schlanken, verschmusten 40 kg Rüden suchen wir ein geeignetes Zuhause ohne Kinder und Katzen bei Herdenschutzhund-erfahrenen Menschen. Mate hat seinen Wesenstest (der Kangal ist in Hessen als Listenhund geführt) bei uns im November 2024 bereits mit Bravour (ohne Auflagen) absolviert! Mate ist perfekt leinenführig, beherrscht alle Grundkommandos mit einem sehr hohen „Will to please“. Ebenso kommuniziert er intensiv mit seinem Menschen, mit dem er eine große Bindung eingeht. Mate liebt Ausflüge: sobald das Auto aufgeht, sitzt er drin und erwartet freudig das Ziel, denn er liebt lange Spaziergänge in der Natur, aber auch im städtischen Umfeld, wo er sich souverän und angstfrei bewegt. Zu beachten ist, dass Mate bei fehlender Führung im häuslichen Umfeld Dominanzverhalten zeigen kann. Sein Sozialverhalten ist sehr gut: er ist mit vielen Hündinnen befreundet, verträgt sich aber auch gut mit Rüden. Bei seinen Lieblingsmenschen ist er ein sehr verschmuster und liebevoller Hund, der immer bemüht ist, zu gefallen und alles richtig zu machen. Wir freuen uns, wenn Sie Mate zu unseren
