Bella

Rottweiler · Male · Puppy · 8 months

Sweet Bella came into our care as her previous owners could no longer keep her. She is a sweet girl, who absolutely adores being in the company of her favourite people. She loves her favourite people so much that she can sometimes forget that personal space exists, climbing onto your lap for a fuss and always trying to give you her paw. She loves playing with all her toys, especially the soft squeaky ones, and enjoys going out for her walks. Although we feel it is best for Bella to be the only pet at present, she walks nicely with other dogs so we feel she would benefit from a home where she can continue socialising with dogs outside of the home. Bella can be quite shy when she first meets people, so will benefit from her new owners introducing her to new people and situations slowly and at her pace. Once she trusts you, her sweet, playful personality really shines through. Do you have the space in your home for this big bundle of joy?

About Bella

What life with Bella looks like

Bella is a medium-sized puppy/kitten rottweiler dog waiting at RSPCA Suffolk Central Branch in United Kingdom.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bella, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bella?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Suffolk Central Branch handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bella on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bella if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — RSPCA Suffolk Central Branch will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bella already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bella isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Suffolk Central Branch early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bella and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
