Despite a difficult start in life, she shows herself here as a watchful, curious, and playful young cat, gradually getting used to her new environment. Toward people, Bellatrix is currently still mistrustful. Given that she likely had little to no positive contact with people during her important socialization phase, this is understandable. At the same time, we recognize great potential in her: with patience, a calm approach, and a safe environment, we trust that Bellatrix will gradually gain trust and accept human proximity – perhaps even enjoy it. For her, we could envision either a place with a social second cat or a single place. After a successful adjustment period, Bellatrix requires free roam in a safe, traffic-free environment, as she already shows that exploring the outdoors is very beneficial for her. Trotz ihres schwierigen Starts ins Leben zeigt sie sich hier als wache, neugierige und verspielte junge Katze, die sich Schritt für Schritt auf ihre neue Umgebung einlässt. Menschen gegenüber ist Bellatrix zurzeit noch misstrauisch. Da sie in ihrer wichtigen Sozialisierungsphase vermutlich nur wenig oder gar keinen positiven Kontakt zu Menschen hatte, ist dies gut nachvollziehbar. Gleichzeitig erkennen wir bei ihr grosses Potenzial: Mit Geduld, ruhiger Ansprache und einem sicheren Umfeld trauen wir Bellatrix zu, dass sie nach und nach Vertrauen fasst und menschliche Nähe akzeptieren – vielleicht sogar geniessen – kann. Für sie können wir uns sowohl ein Platz bei einer sozialen Zweitkatze wie auch einen Einzelplatz gut vorstellen.
