Belle & Rosie – Bonded Pair

Belle and Rosie LUTON AREA, BEDS Adoption fee for Belle and Rosie is £250 BELLE 13 years old Female, mini, red, smooth Neutered ROSIE 10 years old Female, mini red dapple, smooth Neutered Belle and Rosie are a bonded mother-daughter pair of dogs we rescued earlier in the year, following the sad hospitalisation of their owner. Unfortunately, the dogs had been left to their own devices for many months and, although obviously much loved, were seriously over-weight when they moved into foster. In foster Belle and Rosie have blossomed and are a friendly, easy-going pair who love their walks and their snuggles. They get on well with the other resident dogs and are happy to get lots of attention from people outside the home as well (and with this cute pair, this happens a lot!) With more activity, their energy levels have improved and they have started to lose weight, we expect this to continue. Their new family will need to be committed to house-training – because they were left on their own for extended periods of time, and because they are older ladies with bladders to match, they will need reminding about where to do their business. Adopters can expect improvement, but if you do have fitted carpets throughout, these two might not be the right match. Belle and Rosie sleep together at night in the kitchen. They are in good health for their age with no ongoing problems, although their teeth could be in better shape – we will discuss this with potential adopters. Belle and Rosie have come through so much and remain the sweetest-natured dogs. They are looking for a calm, quiet home with a nice garden to mooch in, a comfy sofa or two to sunbathe on and for a family who is around much of the time.
