Our wonderfully mixed-breed male dog "Ben" is a very successful mix, it could include various breeds from Schnauzer over Appenzeller to Entlebucher. No one really knows for sure, but the most extraordinary mixes are often the best. "Ben" has a shoulder height of about 55 cm and is only 1 year old. He is initially a bit cautious with new people and not a pushover. Once the ice is broken, "Ben" is very loving, lively, and open. Therefore, he needs a bit more time to build trust. He is always very happy to see the familiar two-leggeds, immediately stops playing, and runs to us and asks for a pat. As he is very active according to his breed, he can only be placed in a house with an enclosed garden (at least 1.20 m high), so he can also run around in the yard without a leash. Larger children (from 6 years old) can be present in the new home, but cats should not be present. "Ben" also reacts rather reservedly at the beginning when going for a walk and needs patient and calm people who do not expect a perfect dog right away. During dog encounters, he remains absolutely calm and composed. At the animal shelter, he lives together with another male dog, they play and frolic the whole day together. This animal was surrendered to the shelter.

Unser wunderhübscher Mischlingsrüde „Ben“ ist eine sehr gelungene Mischung, es könnte diverse Rassen vom Schnauzer über Appenzeller bis Entlebucher mitgemischt haben. So richtig weiß das jedoch keiner, doch die außergewöhnlichsten Mischungen sind oft die Besten. Ben hat eine Schulterhöhe ca. 55 cm und ist erst 1 Jahr alt. Er ist Anfang vorsichtig bei neuen Personen und kein Draufgänger. Ist das Eis einmal geschmolzen ist Ben sehr lieb, aufgeweckt und aufgeschlossen. Anfangs benötigt er deshalb etwas mehr Zeit um Vertrauen aufzubauen. Über die bekannten Zweibeiner freut er sich jedes Mal sehr, unterbricht sofort sein Spiel und läuft auf uns Menschen zu und bittet um eine Streicheleinheit. Da er entsprechend seiner Rasse sehr bewegungsfreudig ist, wird er nur in Haus mit eingezäunten Garten (min. 1,20 m hoch) abgegeben, damit er auch ohne Leine im Grundstück mal richtig toben kann. Größere, ruhigere Kinder (ab 10 Jahren) können gern im neuen Zuhause vorhanden sein, Katzen sollten besser nicht vorhanden sein. Ben reagiert auch Anfangs beim Gassigehen eher zurückhaltend und benötigt deshalb geduldige und ruhige Menschen, die nicht gleich einen perfekten Hund erwarten. Bei Hundebegegnungen bleibt er absolut ruhig und gelassen. Im Tierheim lebt er mit einem weiteren Rüden zusammen, sie spielen und toben den ganzen Tag gemeinsam. Wer hat Zeit und Geduld und gibt diesem wunderschönen Rüden endlich eine Chance auf ein tolles Zuhause?
