Ben Und Mina

Doberman · Male · Adult · 6 years

Ben and Mina, born circa 2020, are two wonderful dogs looking for a loving home together. Originally from Morocco, they were rescued there and have lived in Germany since 2022. Unfortunately, their previous living situation changed. In their previous home, there was also a Doberman with whom conflicts arose. Since harmonious coexistence was no longer possible, Ben and Mina are now looking for a new home where they can finally find peace and accompany their humans through life in a relaxed manner. They are extremely people-oriented, friendly, and loving. They enjoy the closeness to their humans and show themselves as calm, balanced, and uncomplicated companions in everyday life. Ben and Mina master basic commands. With other dogs they get along well and also know living with two cats without problems. Children are also part of their daily lives and do not pose a problem for them. They handle driving relaxed. Ben and Mina don't like to be alone for long periods. Therefore, we wish for them a home with people who have enough time and can offer them the family connection they enjoy so much. A securely fenced property with a garden is a requirement for them. Ben and Mina are curious and resourceful and love to explore. Therefore, their new home should be secured in such a way that they can move freely and safely there. Both love water and like being outdoors. They also have a certain hunting instinct, which is why some attention is required in nature. Our greatest wish is to place Ben and Mina together. The two are closely connected and give each other security. If no joint home could be found, we would also place them individually - the well-being of both comes first for us. However, it would be best if they were able to continue their lives together.

About Ben Und Mina

What life with Ben Und Mina looks like

Ben Und Mina is a adult doberman dog waiting at Tierheim Lübbersdorf in Germany.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Ben Und Mina, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Ben Und Mina?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Lübbersdorf handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Ben Und Mina on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Ben Und Mina if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Lübbersdorf will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Ben Und Mina already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Ben Und Mina isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Lübbersdorf early rather than rehoming privately; they know Ben Und Mina and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
