Benedikt, Mats, Mika & Finni Three black brothers with a black friend Status: open Name: Benedikt, Mats, Mika & Finni Breed: EKH Gender: male/neutered Color: black Born: 10.04.2026 Compatible with: same species, dogs, children The three brothers Mats, Mika, Finni and their best friend Benedikt found their way to our association through different paths. The three brothers with their beautiful black fur, which shines like liquid onyx, came to the association with their mother as found animals. Benedikt was secured by the vet office and handed over to our association. In the foster home, the four same-aged boys met and found each other super cool! Benedikt is an absolute cuddly cat that you can hardly get off the lap. The three brothers are still a bit shy with strangers, but the children in the foster home also like to pet them now. Wanted home: A home is being sought for the black gang, each in a double pack. Either in apartment keeping, a secured balcony would be great, or later free access after acclimatization in a traffic-calmed residential area. A cat-friendly dog or other same species can wait for the boys in the new home. Also children, if they are not too turbulent and calm with the kittens or even have cat experience, can be part of the new family. About Benedikt, Mats, Mika und Finni

What life with Benedikt, Mats, Mika und Finni looks like

Benedikt, Mats, Mika und Finni is a kitten european shorthair cat waiting at Tierschutzverein 7 Gebirge e.V. — Orscheider Hof in Germany.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Benedikt, Mats, Mika und Finni, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Benedikt, Mats, Mika und Finni?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein 7 Gebirge e.V. — Orscheider Hof handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Benedikt, Mats, Mika und Finni on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Benedikt, Mats, Mika und Finni if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzverein 7 Gebirge e.V. — Orscheider Hof will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Benedikt, Mats, Mika und Finni already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Benedikt, Mats, Mika und Finni isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein 7 Gebirge e.V. — Orscheider Hof early rather than rehoming privately; they know Benedikt, Mats, Mika und Finni and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
