Female Date of Birth: Bernice is an adult cat whose age we believe to be a few years. Until a few months ago, she was part of a wild dog pack on a field in the outskirts of Bucharest. It took us some time to build a bond with her, and after she gained trust in us, we neutered her and returned her to the field where she spent her life. We were determined to do this because in just a few hours she had destroyed a transport crate and we feared she wouldn't tolerate captivity. Then, over time, we found Bernice more muscular and bloodied. We feared for her life and decided to take her in. She adapted so well that when we tried to take her for a walk, she refused to budge, being firm and unyielding. She did not want to go out on the street in any form. Of course, we couldn't convince her it was just for a walk, but we will continue to try. Bernice is now in the summer yard, meaning she is in heat. Her fur is oily and unkempt but not long. Femela Data nasterii: Talie: Medie Sterilizata Bernice este o catelusa adulta despre care banuim ca ar avea putini ani. Pana acum cateva luni facea parte dintr-o haita de caini salbaticiti de pe un maidan din preajma Bucurestiului. Ne-a luat ceva timp sa ne imprietenim si dupa ce a capatat incredere in noi, am sterilizat-o si am lasat-o inapoi pe campul in care isi petrecea viata. Am fost determinati sa facem asta pentru ca in doar cateva ore a distrus o cusca de transport si ne-am temut ca nu va suporta captivitatea. Apoi in timp o gaseam pe Bernice mai mereu muscata si plina de sange. Ne-am temut pentru viata ei si am decis s-o luam la noi. S-a adaptat atat de bine incat cand am incercat s-o scoatem la plimbare s-a opintit si-a fost de neclintit. Nu voia sub nicio forma sa iasa pe strada. Desigur n-am reusit s-o convingem ca-i vorba doar de o plimbare, dar vom mai incerca. Bernice este acum in tinuta de vara adica e tunsa. Blana ei e deasa si stufoasa dar nu lunga. O recomandam pe Bernice unei familii care are curte. Trebuie sa stiti despre ea, ca e de talie medie, foarte docila, prietenoasa dar si vigilenta.
