Bertie is a real cuddly dog and a very sweet Staffordshire Bull Terrier. ❤️ He loves to play, loves people and is also social with other dogs. He is fine with many people in the house — he actually enjoys the company. Bertie is a shadow: wherever you are, Bertie is there too. 😄 He pokes his nose everywhere and wants to experience everything with you. Are you cooking, cleaning or just sitting on the couch? Bertie likes to be there. He is a dog who likes to be in the middle of family life. Bertie is social with other dogs. Small dogs are no problem, although he sometimes doesn't quite understand how strong and enthusiastic he is. During playtime, he can be a bit clumsy or too enthusiastic. With larger dogs, he can be very good: he listens and follows them well. Bertie listens well and wants to please his owner, but he certainly needs clear and calm guidance. Outdoors, he can be a bit overwhelmed when there are many stimuli at once, such as many people, cars, traffic or noise. Then he needs someone to calmly guide him and give him confidence. Bertie is also very easy indoors: *sleeping in a crate is no problem for him.* 💤 And then there is one thing Bertie really loves: water! 💦🌊 He is a real water rat and if he gets the chance, he is happy to stand with his paws — or preferably completely — in the water.

Bertje is een echt knuffelbeest en een ontzettend lieve Stafford. ❤️ Hij speelt heel graag, ziet mensen enorm graag en is ook sociaal met andere honden. Veel mensen in huis vindt hij helemaal prima — hij geniet juist van gezelschap. Bertje is een echte *schaduw*: waar jij bent, daar is Bertje ook. 😄 Hij steekt overal zijn neus in en wil het liefst samen met jou alles beleven. Ben je aan het koken, opruimen of gewoon lekker op de bank aan het zitten? Bertje is er graag bij. Hij is echt een hond die graag midden in het gezinsleven staat. Met andere honden is Bertje sociaal. Ook kleine honden zijn geen probleem, al heeft hij soms nog niet helemaal door hoe sterk en enthousiast hij is. Tijdens het spelen kan hij daardoor wat lomp of te enthousiast zijn. Met grotere honden kan hij zich dan weer heel mooi optrekken: hij luistert en volgt hen goed. Bertje luistert goed en wil graag zijn baasje plezieren, maar heeft zeker nood aan duidelijke en rustige leiding. Buiten kan hij wat onder de indruk raken wanneer er veel prikkels tegelijk zijn, zoals veel mensen, auto’s, verkeer of lawaai. Dan heeft hij iemand nodig die hem rustig begeleidt en vertrouwen geeft. Ook in huis is Bertje heel makkelijk: *slapen in een bench is voor hem geen enkel probleem.* 💤 En dan is er nog één ding waar Bertje écht dol op is: water! 💦🌊 Hij is een echte waterrat en als hij de kans krijgt, staat hij maar al te graag met zijn poten — of liefst helemaal — in het water.
