Besnyői Bebóra

Mixed Breed · Female · Adult · 4 years

We reunited and this time a shelter team from over 20 animal welfare organizations arrived in Fejér county, Besnyő settlement. We saved more than 60 LIVES! The place was a mess - as it always is, according to the available spaces - with an aggressive shelter worker present, eyes, fists, sticks, and whips everywhere. 60 fox-like, bone-thin dogs, all in one kennel, some with injuries, signs of illness, a variety of ages, the puppies' fur growing from tiny to massive, the mothers almost emaciated in the confinement. They don't get more to eat because then they wouldn't properly lactate. A sovány (thin) fox-like dog arrived at Noé Animal Shelter Foundation under an emergency placement during the administrative proceedings. After the case was closed, it can be adopted permanently. The only girl in the small team, Bebó, also arrived sovány (thin) with long fur. Despite all the bad, she is friendly, though we're not surprised by her half-starved state. Bebó is vaccinated, microchipped, and can be adopted as a family pet after being neutered.

60 foxiszerű, csontsovány kutya, egyetlen falkában, sokukon sérülések, bőrbetegség jelei, több különböző korú alom, a babák pocakja a férgektől hatalmasra duzzadva, a mamák szinte felemésztették magukat a szoptatásban. AZért nem kapnak többet enni, mert akkor nem patkányoznak rendesen.A Noé Állatotthon Alapítványhoz, a közigazgatási eljárás során ideiglenes kiemeléssel, 4 sovány foxi jellegű kutya érkezett. About Besnyői Bebóra

What life with Besnyői Bebóra looks like

Besnyői Bebóra is a small adult mixed breed dog waiting at Noé Állatotthon in Budapest.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

Note from the shelter: Rescued from neglectful conditions, underweight, long nails, may need time to adjust

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting Besnyői Bebóra, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Besnyői Bebóra?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Noé Állatotthon handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Besnyői Bebóra on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Besnyői Bebóra if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Noé Állatotthon will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Besnyői Bebóra already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Besnyői Bebóra isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Noé Állatotthon early rather than rehoming privately; they know Besnyői Bebóra and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (HU). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
