Adopt Beza

Female · Senior · 11 years

Beza is a sensitive little cat who ended up in the animal shelter straight from home conditions. Beza came to the animal shelter with her dog friend, with whom she had to be separated. She ended up in the shelter chaos, without her person and her dog friend. No wonder she was terrified and preferred to watch everything from hiding. It's definitely too much change for one cat. Beza is slowly getting used to the new reality. She is curious, but very cautious. When she trusts someone, she slightly sticks her head out for petting. She surely would like to find herself again in a calm home, take care of her daily routines and finally rest from the shelter's hustle. We also want this very much and encourage adoption of this delicate and sensitive cat. Beza needs someone who will give her space and time to open up at her own pace. The cat takes special food because of IBD, but it is managed and Beza feels good. We encourage you to contact us before visiting the animal shelter to get current information about Bezy's health. We also encourage you to familiarize yourself with our adoption procedure. Before adoption, make sure that your home/apartment is safe and properly prepared to welcome a new family member. Warning: If you decide to adopt a cat or are considering it, please bring a carrier or a transport bag to the animal shelter for transporting cats.

Beza to wrażliwa koteczka, która prosto z domowych warunków wylądowała w schronisku. Do schroniska trafiła ze swoim psim przyjacielem, z którym musiała zostać rozdzielona. Trafiła prosto w schroniskowy chaos, bez swojego człowieka i psiego przyjaciela.

About Beza

What life with Beza looks like

Beza is a small senior cat waiting at Schronisko Na Paluchu in Warsaw.

Senior cats are the gentlest house guests: predictable, mostly silent, and grateful for a sunny windowsill. Older cats often have minor dental or kidney issues — keep an eye on water intake and weight. Many sleep eighteen hours a day and want no part of any drama.

Note from the shelter: IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) - requires special diet but condition is controlled

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Beza, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Beza?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko Na Paluchu handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Beza on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Beza if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko Na Paluchu will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Beza already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Beza isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko Na Paluchu early rather than rehoming privately; they know Beza and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
