BIANCA

Female · Senior · 14 years

We present this cutie, named BIANCA. She is a dog accustomed to living in a house; her family left her tied at the door of the our shelter, and she has been struggling ever since. She has been at the our shelter since 2012. She is very affectionate, good, and playful. She needs a lot of activity, so we request responsibility from the future adopter in understanding BIANCA's needs and being able to meet them. INFORMATION, TO THE FUTURE adopter: As a breed especially dedicated to exploitation for breeding, APADAC will not place the dog in adoption without sterilizing her first. Similarly, no dog will be handed over without the required licenses as mandated by law for this type of breed. APADAC does not charge for adoptions, but the costs of sterilization and vaccinations will be the responsibility of the adopter. Additionally, special follow-up will be conducted to ensure that our little one is not a victim of any abuse by the adopter. APADAC retains the right to reclaim the dog at any moment if we detect any situation that, under our perspective, could harm the dog.

About BIANCA

What life with BIANCA looks like

BIANCA is a large senior dog waiting at APADAC — Protectora de Animales in Spain.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting BIANCA, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about BIANCA?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. APADAC — Protectora de Animales handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw BIANCA on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt BIANCA if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — APADAC — Protectora de Animales will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is BIANCA already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if BIANCA isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with APADAC — Protectora de Animales early rather than rehoming privately; they know BIANCA and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
