HELP FOR Bico mao A few weeks ago, we took in this cute dog surrendered by a hunter. As always, we did full blood tests to check his health and were surprised to find a positive Heartworm test. Currently, we are on doxycycline treatment, waiting for the results of the tests to determine the amount of microfilariae and adults in his blood to see if we will need to treat with an immiticide, a specific medication that is injected. But first, we had to do an echocardiogram. If you can help us with the expenses, it would greatly help our cause. We will be attaching the invoices. We present Bico mao. A few days ago, we were asked to help take in this dog, surrendered by his owner because he is no longer useful for hunting. He came from Badajoz and a few days ago he is in foster care with Ana and Eduardo and his furball. Slowly, he is getting used to routines and learning what it means to live in a comfortable home. He loves to play and greet all the dogs. A bit rough when playing, but very "cool." He has tested positive for Heartworm, we have started treatment and performed an echocardiogram in which we did not see anything, but we are waiting for the rest of the tests to have all the information to eliminate Heartworm, Heartworm, Heartworm. (We are not Catalana Occidente, but we treat our dogs with all available resources,) CAN YOU HELP? AYUDA PARA BICO MAO Hace pocas semanas recogimos a este simpático perro cedido por una cazador. Como siempre hicimos las analíticas completas para ver estado de salud y nos encontramos con la sorpresa de un positivo en filaria De momento estamos en tratamiento de doxiciclina, a la espera de los resultados de las pruebas para ver cantidad de microfilarias y adultos que puede tener en sangre para ver si finalmente habrá que tratar con inmiticide, que es un medicamento específico que va inyectado. Pero lo primero que hemos tenido que hacer es un ecocardio Si puedes echarnos una patita con los gastos nos ayudaría muchísimo tu granito de arena Iremos adjuntando las facturas Os presentamos a Bico Mao. Hace unos días nos piden ayuda para recoger a este perro, cedido por su dueño porque ya no vale para cazar. Llegó de Badajoz y hace pocos días se encuentra en acogida con Ana y Eduardo y su peludo. Poco a poco se va haciendo a las rutinas y aprendiendo lo que es el día a día de un hogar confortable. Le encanta jugar y saludar a todos los perros. Un poco bruto jugando pero muy “salao” Ha dado positivo en Filaria, hemos empezado tratamiento y realizado un ecocardio en el que no hemos visto nada pero estamos esperando resto de pruebas para tener toda la información para eliminar Todo Todo y Todo. (No somos catalana occidente, pero tratamos a nuestros perros con todos los recursos disponibles, ) ¿NOS AYUDAS?
