Binx (& Hocus)

Mixed Breed Cat · Male · Kitten · 1 month

Hello, humans! We’re Binx and Hocus, two gorgeous little kittens with a magical mix of personalities! We came to the centre from a vet practice with our siblings, and now we’re ready to find homes where we can conjure up plenty of fun.I’m Hocus, the confident little explorer! If there’s something happening, I’d like to be involved, please. New toys, new adventures and something interesting to investigate? Count me in! I’m usually ready to jump straight into the action and see what excitement awaits. And I’m Binx! I prefer to hang back a little at first and watch what’s going on. Every good Halloween adventure needs someone keeping an eye on things! Give me time to get comfortable and find my paws, and you’ll get to discover the lovely little kitten behind my quieter introduction. We love playing, wrestling and zooming around with our siblings. A wiggly toy or something fun to chase is all it takes to get our little paws moving, no magic wand required! We’re full of kitten curiosity and have plenty of adorable antics waiting for our future families. We could live with gentle, respectful children and could potentially share our homes with another cat or a cat-savvy dog, with careful introductions. Our families will need to give us time to settle in, especially little Binx, who appreciates being able to take things at his own pace.Whether you’re enchanted by a confident little Hocus or a watchful little Binx, come and meet us. Your next great love story could begin with a tiny paw and a little Halloween magic! About Binx (& Hocus)

What life with Binx (& Hocus) looks like

Binx (& Hocus) is a very small puppy/kitten mixed breed cat cat waiting at National Animal Welfare Trust in Watford.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Binx (& Hocus), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Binx (& Hocus)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. National Animal Welfare Trust handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Binx (& Hocus) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Binx (& Hocus) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — National Animal Welfare Trust will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Binx (& Hocus) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Binx (& Hocus) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with National Animal Welfare Trust early rather than rehoming privately; they know Binx (& Hocus) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
