Birdy ist ein sehr gut erzogenes Kraftpaket, er beherrscht alle Grundkommandos und führt Befehle mit Begeisterung aus. Birdy´s zukünftigen Besitzer sollten ihn durch gezieltes Training geistig gut auslasten können, für ausdauernde Sportarten ist Birdy aufgrund einer Pulmonalstenose nicht geeignet, auch wenn man dies dem muskulösen Burschen nicht ansieht. Für Birdy werden Menschen gesucht die über viel Erfahrung im Umgang mit schwierigen Hunden besitzen. Bei Sichtungen oder Begegnungen mit anderen Hunden möchte Birdy durchstarten, Personen die er respektiert können ihn in solchen Situationen aber gut händeln. Birdy ist an das Tragen eines Maulkorb gewöhnt. Es ist aber zu betonen, dass Birdy nicht gefährlich eingestuft ist. Das Tragen des Maulkorb ist eine reine Sicherheitsmaßnahme um andere Hunde nicht zu gefährden! Birdy wünscht sich ein Zuhause mit einem hoch eingezäunten Garten, denn er hat eine enorme Sprungkraft.
