Biscuit

Male

Biscuit arrived at the centre after being found as a stray. Biscuit had quite the ordeal when he first arrived having recently undergone surgery for a luxating patella but, after a few weeks of recovery he is now ready to begin his search for his forever home! Biscuit is a very affectionate boy who loves spending time with his human friends and receiving plenty of fuss and attention. He can sometimes get a little overexcited when seeking affection which can occasionally result in a playful nip. We hope that in a home where he can receive plenty of attention this behaviour will improve. When he isn’t busy soaking up attention from his friends he can often be found playing with a variety of toys or even having some down time curled up in a nice soft bed. Biscuit is looking for adopters who will continue to help with his recovery in his new home. Biscuit can’t wait to find his family, could this be yours?

About Biscuit

What life with Biscuit looks like

Biscuit is a small adult cat waiting at RSPCA Suffolk Central Branch in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction β€” every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Biscuit, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Biscuit?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Suffolk Central Branch handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Biscuit on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Biscuit if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad β€” RSPCA Suffolk Central Branch will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Biscuit already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Biscuit isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Suffolk Central Branch early rather than rehoming privately; they know Biscuit and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
