Bundi is housed at Swiss Ranch. We provide placement assistance for the Animal Welfare Center/Swiss Ranch. The care for Bundi costs an average of 100,00 € per month, for which we are looking for sponsors. For 2026, monthly donations available from sponsors: One-time donations: 0,00 € Total so far: 0,00 € ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Current Description September 2026 Bundi came into our care together with Ordas after her owner unfortunately had to move to a retirement home and therefore could no longer care for them. Bundi and Ordas lived together since their puppyhood and spent their whole lives with the same person. They were not only there for each other but also mutual trusted and secure points of reference in their daily lives. It was very difficult for both of them to lose their home and their familiar life overnight. Bundi seems to adapt a little more easily to the new situation. She loves the closeness to people, enjoys caresses and is very happy when someone gives her some attention. Of course, she has not simply forgotten the life she knew before. For an older dog, it can be particularly difficult when everything suddenly changes after so many years. That is why Bundi now needs above all peace, security and a lot of love. We know that perhaps fewer people are interested in adopting an older dog. But we firmly believe that there is someone out there who does not look at their age, but at the loving, affectionate older lady who still longs for belonging to someone. We very much hope that Bundi gets another chance. A home of her own, a soft cushion, loving hands and a person who shows her that she can still be really happy in this stage of life. Because even in the hearts of older dogs there is an incredible amount of love - and Bundi would love to love someone again. * If more donations than stated are received, these will be used for the association's purposes. About Bitte spenden Sie hier

What life with Bitte spenden Sie hier looks like

Bitte spenden Sie hier is a senior mixed breed dog waiting at Pfotenhilfe-Ungarn e.V. in Schnarup-Thumby.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bitte spenden Sie hier, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bitte spenden Sie hier?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Pfotenhilfe-Ungarn e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bitte spenden Sie hier on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bitte spenden Sie hier if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Pfotenhilfe-Ungarn e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bitte spenden Sie hier already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bitte spenden Sie hier isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Pfotenhilfe-Ungarn e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bitte spenden Sie hier and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
