Jack is housed at the Swiss Ranch. We provide placement assistance for the Tierschutz-Zentrum/Swiss Ranch. The monthly care for Jack costs on average 100,-CHF, for which we are seeking sponsors. For 2025, monthly sponsorship is covered by donations: One-time donations: 0,-CHF Total so far: 0,-CHF ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Current Description June 2025: Jack is a Staffordshire-mixed breed who was brought to us by a field handler after being found straying. The people who first discovered him were immediately captivated by him—with his friendly, open nature, he quickly won their hearts. They would have gladly given him a home. Unfortunately, Jack does not get along well with other dogs, which is why he could not stay due to the existing animals. Now, he waits for someone who understands and respects his breed and can responsibly care for and train him. Jack is a clever, attentive dog who can be a balanced, loyal companion in the right hands. He is not for everyone— but for someone with experience with Staffordshire-mixed breeds and not averse to consistent, loving guidance, Jack can be an excellent companion. We firmly believe that somewhere out there, exactly the right person is waiting for him. Someone who sees beyond a breed and recognizes his own personality, and can give him the life he deserves: safety, guidance, and most of all, love. Jack is ready. It just needs the right person by his side. Unfortunately, his owners can only be found in Hungary or Austria, as Jack exhibits characteristics of a "list dog" that unfortunately prevent him from having a future in Germany. *Should more donations than specified be received, they will be used for the association's purposes. About Bitte spenden Sie hier

What life with Bitte spenden Sie hier looks like

Bitte spenden Sie hier is a young adult staffordshire bull terrier dog waiting at Pfotenhilfe-Ungarn e.V. in Schnarup-Thumby.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bitte spenden Sie hier, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bitte spenden Sie hier?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Pfotenhilfe-Ungarn e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bitte spenden Sie hier on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bitte spenden Sie hier if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Pfotenhilfe-Ungarn e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bitte spenden Sie hier already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bitte spenden Sie hier isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Pfotenhilfe-Ungarn e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bitte spenden Sie hier and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
