Only his caution wins out over his curiosity. He observes, thinks, shifts a paw forward… and decides that today is not the day for grand social experiments. We’re looking for a person with patience for Blackie, and not the kind of patience you develop while waiting in line at the supermarket, but the real deal. Someone who understands that trust grows in millimeters, not meters. His curiosity is there; he just needs a safe place and a calm companion to make the leap into trust.
