Sometimes it only takes one glance to fall in love — and with Blair, that happens pretty quickly. With her white-and-black fur, small black spots and adorable face, the young dog is a real eye-catcher. But the best thing about Blair are her expressive green-brown eyes that look curiously, intelligently and bravely into the world as if she has already decided to explore life with open paws. Recently, Blair moved into her foster family — and every day she shows more what a wonderful little dog girl is inside her. She is cheerful, open, playful and very people-oriented. With clumsy paws, she explores her new world, bravely collects experiences and meets many new situations with a great mix of curiosity and cautious attention. However, the small lady needs a moment at first to gain trust around children — but when she feels safe, she shows her gentle, affectionate side. She also impresses entirely in everyday life: She lives peacefully with the cats in the house, was already housebroken from the first day and already sleeps through the night reliably. In short: Blair has everything you can wish for a little dream puppy. However, her start in life was anything but easy. Mom Ariel gave birth to her puppies outside a village, somewhere between uncertainty and danger. Some of her siblings were taken by children and disappeared. However, Blair was lucky: Together with her two sisters, she could be saved. In May, finally, something began for her that every puppy deserves — a life full of safety, security and new opportunities, a valuable starting point for her very own story! Blair will probably grow to be medium-sized, about the size of her mother, with a shoulder height of around 50 cm. Now, the little explorer just needs one thing: her own forever family. People with heart, patience and love who show her how beautiful a dog's life can be. People who want to grow together with her, experience adventures, build trust and turn a little puppy into a loyal companion for life. With her intelligent, cheerful and charming nature, Blair has the best prerequisites for that. A visit to a loving and positively working dog school would surely support her additionally in confidently discovering the world. Blair is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and treated for fleas. Of course, she goes home with an EU pet passport. After a positive preliminary check and against a fee, she can pack her suitcase. Meeting is welcome — perhaps her place for life is already waiting for her with you. Many thanks to the -community! You have given Blair her identity! Date: 14.05.2026

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! About Blair

What life with Blair looks like

Blair is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Blair, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Blair?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Blair on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Blair if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Blair already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Blair isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Blair and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
