Update 10/10/2026: Since late June, Blitz has been staying in foster care with me, together with his two little brothers. Blitz is a beautiful, sturdy, big boy who approaches the world with a healthy dose of curiosity. Still, at first he finds contact with people quite exciting. But anyone who gives him the time and space to build trust at his own pace sees him blossom more and more. Slowly but surely, Blitz is showing his soft, affectionate side. He is making lovely little steps forward, and it is wonderful to see how he is developing. His curiosity is one of his most endearing qualities: he likes to keep an eye on you and follows you everywhere, almost like a little dog! He wants to know what you are doing and prefers to be nearby, even if direct contact still feels a bit exciting for him. Blitz also gets along well with dogs, as long as they are used to cats and treat him calmly and respectfully. For Blitz we are looking for a loving home with someone who has patience, time, and understanding. Someone who realizes that trust is not a given, but may grow step by step. With the right guidance and a safe environment, we expect Blitz to develop further into a lovely, affectionate companion. Will you give this sturdy boy the chance to become fully himself? Update 10/10/2026: Sinds eind juni verblijft Blitz samen met zijn twee broertjes bij mij in de opvang. Blitz is een prachtige, stoere en grote jongen, die de wereld met een gezonde dosis nieuwsgierigheid tegemoet treedt. Toch vindt hij het contact met mensen in eerste instantie best spannend. Maar wie hem de tijd en ruimte geeft om op zijn eigen tempo vertrouwen op te bouwen, ziet hem steeds meer openbloeien. Langzaam maar zeker laat Blitz zijn zachte, aanhankelijke kant zien. Hij maakt mooie stapjes vooruit en het is ontzettend fijn om te zien hoe hij zich ontwikkelt. Zijn nieuwsgierigheid is één van zijn leukste eigenschappen: hij houdt je graag in de gaten en volgt je overal, bijna als een hondje! Zo wil hij graag weten wat je aan het doen bent en is hij het liefst in de buurt, ook al vindt hij rechtstreeks contact soms nog een beetje spannend. Ook met honden kan Blitz goed overweg, mits ze gewend zijn aan katten en op een rustige, respectvolle manier met hen omgaan. Voor Blitz zoeken we een liefdevol thuis bij iemand met geduld, tijd en begrip. Iemand die begrijpt dat vertrouwen niet vanzelfsprekend is, maar stap voor stap mag groeien. Met de juiste begeleiding en een veilige omgeving verwachten we dat Blitz zich nog verder zal ontwikkelen tot een heerlijke, aanhankelijke huisgenoot. Gun jij deze stoere jongen de kans om helemaal zichzelf te worden?
