BLUE BELL

European Shorthair · Female · Adult · 9 years

Blue Bell is a lovely European cat who seems to have all the qualities to easily adapt to a new family life. Clean, calm and able to tolerate loneliness, she will perfectly live in an apartment without needing access to a garden. Sociable, Blue Bell gets along with other cats and also accepts the presence of dogs, making her an ideal companion for a home already composed of animals. She also tolerates car or transport rides, a real plus for veterinary visits or necessary trips. Her relationship with children remains to be confirmed. A meeting at the shelter will allow you to assess if the current flows with gentleness and respect. Blue Bell will be particularly suitable for loving, stable and caring adopters, able to offer her a reassuring environment, affection and the time necessary to fully flourish. If you want to offer her the good life she deserves, contact us ONLY by phone at 02 204 49 50. We will be happy to tell you more and organize a meeting. Adoption is only possible with a "permit to keep an animal" for people who are domiciled in Wallonia.

About BLUE BELL

What life with BLUE BELL looks like

BLUE BELL is a adult european shorthair cat waiting at Help Animals in Brussels.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇧🇪Adopting from Belgium

Belgian shelters operate under regional law (Flanders, Wallonia, Brussels each have their own rules). All adoptions include the Eurochip, vaccinations, and a stewardship contract. Several Flemish shelters partner with Dutch and German rescue networks.

Frequently asked

Adopting BLUE BELL, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about BLUE BELL?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Help Animals handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw BLUE BELL on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt BLUE BELL if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Help Animals will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is BLUE BELL already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if BLUE BELL isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Help Animals early rather than rehoming privately; they know BLUE BELL and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
