She can be cautious and expresses this by barking at certain people, not very clear why. She is a bit nervous around small children. She is afraid of storms. She wants to work for you, she has a huge "will to please". Bo lives outside in the garden during the day, and during the night or when left alone at home in an outdoor kennel with a shelter to sleep in. She is timid with cars outside, but very easy to correct. With other dogs outside it depends. Sometimes she reacts energetic and enthusiastic, other times rather gloomy. The car and being alone at home are no problem for her. She has attended several training classes, she knows the basics of training and obeys well. Despite that she never runs off without a leash, she is always walked with a "flexi" leash. What type of "forever home" are we looking for? Adopters who are familiar with the breed, who can give her the right direction and who will work with her besides just walking, so she can tire out. Story Bo comes from a farm. She was 9 weeks old when she came to her current owners. Because of her enthusiasm, they did not trust her with young children. Definitely not after she bit one of the grandchildren while playing in the hand (fortunately no visible mark). Another incident with a man climbing the fence which she bit (not seriously) on the leg, made them decide to ask us to find a new family for her. Elle peut réagir méfiant et elle exprime ce sentiment en aboyant, à certains gens, pas très clair pourquoi. Elle est un peu inquiète avec de petits enfants. Elle a peur des orages. Elle a envie de travailler pour toi, elle a un “will to please” énorme. Bo vit à l'extérieur, dans le jardin pendant la journée, pendant la nuit ou quand elle reste seule à la maison dans un chenil à l'extérieur avec une niche pour dormir. Elle est peureuse avec des voitures à l'extérieur, mais très facile à corriger. Avec d'autres chiens à l'extérieur ça dépend. Parfois elle réagit énergique et enthousiaste, d'autres fois plutôt sinistre. La voiture et rester seule à la maison ne posent aucun problème pour elle. Elle a suivi plusieurs cours d'éducation, elle connait les bases d'éducation et elle obéit bien. Malgré ça elle ne court jamais sans laisse, on la promène toujours avec une laisse “flexi”. Quelle type de “forever home” on cherche? Des adoptants qui ont connaissance de la race, qui peuvent lui donner la bonne direction et qui vont travailler avec elle à part de se promener seulement, pourqu'elle puisse se fatiguer. HistoireBo vient d'une ferme. Elle avait 9 semaines quand elle est venu chez ses propriétaires actuels. A cause de son enthousiasme, ils n'ont pas confiance en elle avec les petits-enfants. Certainement pas après qu'elle avait mordu un des petits-enfants en jouant dans la main (heureusement pas de marque visible). Un autre incident avec un monteur qui escaladait la clôture qu'elle a mordu (pas gravement) dans le mollet, les a fait prendre la décision de nous demander à trouver une nouvelle famille pour elle.
