Bo - VERMITTLUNGSHILFE

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 4 years

Bo, who is slightly lower in ranking, is searching for a new home. We do not know this dog, and he is not at the animal shelter but at a foster home of another animal protection association in 91734 Mitteleschenbach. We are only publishing Bo on our homepage as he urgently needs a new home. Bo has already adapted well to living in a household environment within a short time, he enjoys being petted and cuddled, and he is already house-trained. When visitors come, Bo currently has some trouble staying calm. His foster family is working on this aspect with Bo and is confident that the short-legged snout will make progress in this area soon. The little dog enjoys walking, but during dog encounters, he often tries to assert himself as the little macho. A strategy that likely saved his life in his earlier life abroad, but one that is now being worked on intensively. Bo gets along well with the existing dogs in his foster family, so he would likely have no objections to a friendly only dog in his future home. Bo's new family should have experience with dogs and be willing to consistently train him. For them, it should be a heartfelt matter to accompany the little man on his journey into a good, relaxed dog life. A rural, more tranquil living environment would be ideal for Bo. Bo tested positive for Dirofilariose and takes a tablet once a month due to this. Interested parties will be given comprehensive information before adoption. The disease is completely curable through treatment, and the tablets are provided by the facilitating association to the adopters, who will also be responsible for the follow-up test. Interested parties are asked to contact us by phone initially, and we will then establish contact with the facilitating association.

What life with Bo - VERMITTLUNGSHILFE looks like

Frequently asked

Adopting Bo - VERMITTLUNGSHILFE, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bo - VERMITTLUNGSHILFE?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bo - VERMITTLUNGSHILFE on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bo - VERMITTLUNGSHILFE if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bo - VERMITTLUNGSHILFE already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bo - VERMITTLUNGSHILFE isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bo - VERMITTLUNGSHILFE and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
