Bob is a large mixed breed dog, estimated to be around 6-8 years old, and is not neutered. He came to us as a stray dog - his owners left him to his fate without a word or any information, and he was found wandering alone at night and brought to the shelter by the police. No owner has ever come forward, and no one who knew him. Bob is a very loving dog. He enjoys going for walks and is a loyal companion. Children in his new home should be older, as he has a lot of energy. Our walkers report that he is a friendly dog on walks, and he is not interested in other dogs, people, or cyclists. He is also very people-oriented in the shelter, as long as he has a person around. When our staff clean the outdoor kennels, he runs with them. The other dogs don't interest him then. No one has reported anything negative about him - neither walkers nor staff, but we all notice how much stress it is for him to be in a kennel. As a black dog, he is often overlooked - but he is happy about every walk, every time he can escape the shelter routine for a while. Come and visit Bob, get to know him and love him, and who knows - maybe he will move in with you soon?

Wo findet sich ein Plätzchen für unseren lieben Bob? Bob kam leider als Fundhund zu uns – ohne ein Wort, ohne irgendeine Info überließen seine Halter ihn seinem Schicksal und so wurde er nachts allein herumlaufend gefunden und von der Polizei ins Tierheim gebracht. Ein Besitzer meldete sich nie, auch niemand, der ihn kannte. Dabei ist Bob so ein lieber Hund. Er ist ein großer Mischling und wird auf etwa 6-8 Jahre geschätzt. Er ist nicht kastriert. Als er zu uns kam hatte er kaum Fell auf dem Rücken und war übergewichtig. Bob war von Anfang an ein netter Hund. Er geht gern spazieren und ist ein treuer Begleiter. Kinder in seinem neuen Zuhause sollten schon größer sein, da er viel Kraft hat. Unsere Gassigeher berichten, dass er unterwegs ein lieber Kerl ist, andere Hunde und Menschen und Radfahrern interessieren ihn nicht. Auch im Tierheim ist er sehr menschenbezogen, wenn er einen Menschen um sich hat. Wenn unsere Mitarbeiter die Aussenzwinger sauber machen, läuft er mit. Die anderen Hunde interessieren ihn dann nicht. Etwas Negatives über ihn hat noch niemand berichtet – weder Gassigänger noch Mitarbeiter, aber uns allen fällt auf, welch großer Stress es für ihn ist, im Zwinger sein zu müssen. Als schwarzer Hund wird er leider auch oft übersehen – dabei freut er sich über jeden Spaziergang, jeden, mit dem er dem Tierheimalltag für eine Zeit entfliehen kann. Kommt zu uns und besucht Bob, lernt ihn kennen und lieben und wer weiß – vielleicht zieht er ja bald schon bei euch ein?
