Adopt Bobbie reserviert

Mixed Breed · Male

So cute and young and unprepared – such a companion would be desired by any two-legged creature? And yet, here I am, with just two years old, in the animal shelter Hallein, after I thankfully obtained a travel permit from an Hungarian animal shelter to come to Austria. I didn’t have a beautiful puppyhood; I was chained up with my sister – she found a home in Germany – and we were supposed to be future guard dogs, but no one would ever have been afraid of us – so small and awkward we were. For that, as my doggy sitters at the animal shelter Hallein say, I am an incredibly well-mannered and cheerful little mixed breed, with a bit of Beagle in my bloodline, they say. Like all my doggy friends my age, I still need training and a visit to dog training classes, because it’s said that even though a dog may be small, they must know and be able to perform the basic commands. I am, after all, a little studious and want to do everything well, so I definitely won’t have a problem with that, and there are plenty of other doggy friends to play with. In the coming days, I will still be able to march with my trainers and Kat from Samtpfoten to the Cat House – let’s see how these Samtpfoten take to me. Maybe they won’t even care, then I can also move into a home with kittens. I have no problems with children either, no, I love these little playmates who are always up for all sorts of nonsense. So, if my interest has now been piqued, then immediately get to your computer – write a mail and make sure to leave your phone number so they can reach my future home. You can also call during the day – she knows me well enough to be able to tell you all about me. Oh, by the way, I am of course already neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and in possession of an EU Pass.

About Bobbie reserviert

What life with Bobbie reserviert looks like

Bobbie reserviert is a small adult mixed breed dog waiting at Tierheim Hallein in Hallein.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇦🇹Adopting from Austria

Austrian shelters follow the federal Tierschutzgesetz framework: adopters sign a Schutzvertrag (protection contract) committing to the animal's welfare. Spay/neuter, microchip, and vaccinations are included; fees typically range €150–€350.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bobbie reserviert, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bobbie reserviert?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Hallein handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bobbie reserviert on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bobbie reserviert if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Hallein will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bobbie reserviert already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bobbie reserviert isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Hallein early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bobbie reserviert and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
