Epagneul Breton Boby is looking for special people! Boby is a delicate, playful, and somewhat anxious dog who needs a bit more time and patience than some others due to his fears and insecurities. On his foster home, he has settled in well – he stays problem-free alone, is nearly house-trained, and shows no stress during car and train rides. During walks, he is still nervous about weather changes and unknown people, but not aggressive, just unsettled. As a result, his leash manners are not yet optimal. Boby has a pronounced hunting behavior and cannot live with small animals. He is not adoptable. Boby barks frequently and needs focused training when meeting people, which he will complete with a trainer and must continue. He can live with other dogs in the household but prefers the company of people. Boby is leishmaniasis-positive and shows disease-related symptoms, so a permanent and possibly changing medication regimen as well as regular vet visits for monitoring will be necessary now and in the future. Epagneul Breton Boby sucht besondere Menschen! Boby ist ein zarter, verspielter und verschmuster Hund, der aufgrund seiner Ängste und Unsicherheiten etwas mehr Zeit und Geduld benötigt als manch anderer. Auf seiner Pflegestelle hat er sich inzwischen gut eingelebt – er bleibt problemlos allein, ist fast zuverlässig stubenrein und zeigt sich entspannt bei Auto- und Zugfahrten. Bei Spaziergängen ist er noch nervös gegenüber Wettereinflüssen und unbekannten Menschen, ist dabei jedoch nicht aggressiv, sondern lediglich verunsichert. Entsprechend ist die Leinenführigkeit noch nicht optimal. Boby hat ein ausgeprägtes Jagdverhalten und kann daher nicht mit Kleintieren zusammenleben. Ableinbar ist er nicht. Boby bellt häufig und braucht bei Begegnungen mit Menschen noch gezieltes Training, das er gemeinsam mit einem Hundetrainer absolviert und das auch weitergeführt werden muss. Mit anderen Hunden im Haushalt kann er leben, sucht jedoch lieber die Nähe von Menschen. Boby ist Leishmaniose-positiv und zeigt krankheitsbedingte Symptome, weshalb eine dauerhafte und auch wechselnde Medikation sowie regelmäßige Tierarztbesuche zur Kontrolle daher jetzt und auch in Zukunft notwendig sein werden.
