Adopt Bolikas nyk. Voltti

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 2 years

My new human is coming! I'm Voltti - a full of energy, soft companion and the world's best driver. I came to Finland in July 2025 and arrived at my current home in October. In a short time, a lot has changed in my life. The child living in my current home worries me, and my dream home would be without children. Outside, children are not a big deal for me, but I enjoy being alone without stressful little people at home. A dog friend in the new home would be really nice, but I can also manage as the only child of the family. When guests come home, it slightly worries me. I want to take situations at my own pace without being rushed, and I have also been behind the door when there have been guests. Meeting guests outside is easier. Otherwise, new situations may be stressful at first, but I will quickly get over them if I have time and support. My walks go well, but from my jumping style, they suspect that I may have pain in my back or legs. I have started pain medication, and it would be good to explore the issue further in the future.

Heipparallaa tuleva oma ihmiseni! Minä olen Voltti – virtaa täynnä oleva viipottaja, pehmeä kainalokaveri ja maailman paras autoilija. Tulin Suomeen heinäkuussa 2025 ja nykyiseen kotiini saavuin lokakuussa. Elämässä on tapahtunut siten paljon muutoksia lyhyen ajan sisällä. Ulkona vieraiden kohtaaminen on helpompaa.

About Bolikas nyk. Voltti

What life with Bolikas nyk. Voltti looks like

Bolikas nyk. Voltti is a medium-sized young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Pet Rescue Finland in Helsinki.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

Note from the shelter: Suspected back or leg pain, started on pain medication, needs further veterinary investigation

🇫🇮Adopting from Finland

Frequently asked

Adopting Bolikas nyk. Voltti, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bolikas nyk. Voltti?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Pet Rescue Finland handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bolikas nyk. Voltti on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bolikas nyk. Voltti if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Pet Rescue Finland will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bolikas nyk. Voltti already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bolikas nyk. Voltti isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Pet Rescue Finland early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bolikas nyk. Voltti and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FI). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
