adoption requirements adoption process Adopt this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Bolle can travel to a home with Rodrigo! His story: Zalau, Romania. Bolle is slowly growing up & still waiting for his heart people 🙁 The approximately 9-10 month old Bolle was incredibly lucky! The little one was found by a vigilant person on a busy street. As he was so small and inexperienced with life on the street, he surely wouldn't have survived long there. Additionally, the little tiger had a wound on its hind leg, likely from a cat bite. We were asked for help and the little ones were immediately provided with food. Bolle is a kitten like one could only wish for. Open and friendly towards people and fellow animals, he loves attention but is by no means pushy. He enjoys cuddles or playtime with his people, but also keeps himself busy or plays with his feline friends. Bolle would like to be with his people all day. Therefore, we wish for a family that has plenty of cuddles for our little snuggle tiger. He should also move in with another feline friend, or he is happy to bring one of his friends to you if there is no kitten waiting for Bolle at your place. He should also continue to be rehomed as a strictly indoor cat. We do not see him as an outdoor cat. Bolle is always ready to move into his new home. For his travel arrangements, he is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and has been tested negative for FIV and FeLV. He also has an EU pet passport and is ready to go. Who has fallen in love with the little Bolle and shows him what a great home can be? His luggage is already packed. Bolle looks forward to messages! Many thanks to Martina N., you gave Bolle his great name and thus his identity.

About Bolle

What life with Bolle looks like

Bolle is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bolle, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bolle?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bolle on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bolle if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bolle already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bolle isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bolle and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
