Bondi – neues Video 20.3.2020

Mixed Breed · Male · Senior · 10 years

It is not just an animal… it is a heart that beats, a soul that feels and a life that wants to live (S.R.) Bondi's life path began 10 years ago in Croatia, in a remote small village. He was thrown from a moving car as a puppy by heartless people. Due to the fall or previous mistreatment, his leg was crushed. Villagers had pity on the helpless little creature and provided him with food, but they could not offer medical help. Then came 10 fateful years during which the little hero had to find his way on the streets. Limping, surely initially plagued by severe pain, our life artist bravely mastered his life until finally compassionate people brought him to the animal shelter Snoopy. Bondi, as they called him, suffered a lot in the kennel, especially since the shelter is completely full due to the earthquake disaster (we reported). His fate touched us deeply and we decided to take the male dog to a foster home of Tierhilfe Franken. We were immediately infatuated – Bondi is a kind, lovable dog and despite all the hardship he experienced, he has not lost faith in human beings. Naturally, he received immediate medical examinations and the possibility of an operation was orthopedically assessed. Unfortunately, a correction of the deformed limbs is no longer possible due to the adhesions and intensive physiotherapy to increase mobility carries the risk of worsening the impairment. After also finding that painkillers did not change his gait, we assume that his disability causes him no or very little pain. Of course, he has motor problems that limit his movement possibilities, so a therapy with light relaxation exercises is therefore sensible. We would be overjoyed to find a caring home for this puppy dog where he can still enjoy the sunny side of dog life. Animal love, responsible people who find joy in helping a 'brave little soul'. Our treasure, however, definitely needs a final place, a retirement home, so that he can finally arrive in the 'right' life. How much will to live and gratitude is in him you can see on the videos.
