Bonita

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Senior · 10 years

Bonita is about 10 years old (born 11/2015), small to medium-sized girl. Weighs about 13-15kg, spayed, neutered, vaccinated. Health: Bonita has been through a lot, in her previous home she had an accident and broke all her legs. By chance she was saved - now she runs on 3 legs and has metal screws in one. We supplement her joints and make sure this crazy sprinter doesn't hurt her legs anymore. Bonita has two faces - from one side she's delicate and very sweet. She loves people and is happy to be petted. With other dogs she behaves very differently. Some she chases away, others she tries to terrorize, and with some she plays best friends. This always needs to be checked individually. Crazy sprinter is an understatement. She loves to run, play with a ball and tug-of-war with toys. She came back under our care in autumn 2024 along with another dog, a pseudo-labrador named Robcik. This pair lived together for at least 9 years, I would like them to find a common home, but will we manage it? We will consider every application. ADOPTION PROCEDURE 1. Fill out the Adoption Questionnaire from the link: 2. Get to know the dog and a pre-adoption visit. 3. Sign the contract and hand over the dog. In case of questions, please call or write:

Bonita ma ok.10 lat (ur. 11/2015) drobna, średniej wielości dziewczynka. Waży ok. 13-15kg wykastrowana, zachipowana, zaszczepiona Zdrowie: Bonita wiele przeszła, w swoim poprzednim domu miała wypadek i połamała wszystkie łapki. To zawsze trzeba sprawdzić indywidualnie. Szalona sprinterka to mało powiedziane. Zapoznanie z psem i wizyta przedadopcyjna. 3. Podpisanie umowy i przekazanie psa W razie pytań proszę dzwonić lub pisać: 506 952 182- Agata

About Bonita

What life with Bonita looks like

Bonita is a senior mixed breed dog waiting at Fundacja Jestem Głosem Tych Co Nie Mówią in Poland.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bonita, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bonita?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Jestem Głosem Tych Co Nie Mówią handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bonita on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bonita if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Jestem Głosem Tych Co Nie Mówią will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bonita already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bonita isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Jestem Głosem Tych Co Nie Mówią early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bonita and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
