Adopt Bonne & Gucci – Bonded Pair

Dachshund · Unknown · Young · 2 years

Bonnie & Gucci – Cheshire Adoption fee £850 Bonnie – 2years 8months, Chocolate and Tan Smooth Coat Miniature (6kg), Not Neutered. Gucci – 2years 8months, Black and Tan Smooth Coat Miniature (7kg), Not Neutered. If you are looking for twice the love, double the cuddles, and a perfectly balanced duo, look no further than this delightful pair of dachshund sisters. Bonnie and Gucci found themselves in rescue through no fault of their own and are now searching for a fresh start and a sofa to call their own. True to their breed, these two have wonderfully distinct personalities that complement each other perfectly. Bonnie is the confident adventurer of the pair. She is always ready to be out and about, exploring the world with an enthusiastic bounce. If you have a tennis ball ready to throw, you will instantly be Bonnie’s new best friend. Gucci, on the other hand, is the slightly more reserved soul who prefers a gentler pace of life. Meeting new people might take her a moment, but once she knows you, she is an absolute champion lap dog who would happily spend her entire day snoring softly in her favourite bed or cuddling up with her chosen humans. Living together, they have established a sweet, independent routine and even know how to use a cat flap to let themselves out into the garden. They are well-behaved at home and are perfectly content to be left alone for up to four hours. However, when they are out on their walks, they do possess that classic dachshund spirit. They can be a bit barky when passing others, firmly believing it is their duty to make their presence known to the neighbourhood. This bonded pair offers the absolute best of both worlds: Bonnie will keep you active and entertained, while Gucci will ensure your lap is never cold. They are incredibly devoted to one another and must be rehomed together. About Bonne & Gucci – Bonded Pair

What life with Bonne & Gucci – Bonded Pair looks like

Bonne & Gucci – Bonded Pair is a young adult dachshund dog waiting at The Red Foundation in Pentlow Street.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Bonne & Gucci – Bonded Pair, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Bonne & Gucci – Bonded Pair?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. The Red Foundation handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Bonne & Gucci – Bonded Pair on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Bonne & Gucci – Bonded Pair if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — The Red Foundation will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Bonne & Gucci – Bonded Pair already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Bonne & Gucci – Bonded Pair isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with The Red Foundation early rather than rehoming privately; they know Bonne & Gucci – Bonded Pair and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
